The 50 Years Remembered – John F. Kennedy was a special issue published in November 2013, to look back at the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the impact that it had.  The special issue web page shows excerpts from the articles, interspersed with photos from the issue and hyperlinks to each article in the issue.

Each semester, The Baylor Lariat produces a special issue surrounding a specific theme.  The All Hallows Eve was the special issue for the Fall 2013 semester and was published in October 2013.  The articles focused on how Halloween as well as the paranormal, the scary, and death.

Each semester, The Baylor Lariat produces a special issue surrounding a specific theme.  The Cost of College was the special issue for the Spring 2013 semester and was published in April 2013.  The articles focused on how much college costs, hidden costs to college, and the struggles graduates face with paying for college loans after graduating.

The 2013 NCAA March Madness was a special issue published in March 2013, after the Baylor Lady Bears basketball team made it to the NCAA tournament and the Baylor Bears men’s basketball team made it to the NIT tournament.  The special issue web page shows excerpts from the articles, interspersed with photos from the issue and hyperlinks to each article in the issue.

The Historic Third Consecutive Bowl was a special issue published in December 2012, after the Baylor Bears football team made it to their third consecutive bowl game appearance, a first for the team.  This special issue was published before I came on as the web editor in February 2013, but I went back to create the special page on the web site showing excerpts from the articles, interspersed with photos from the issue and hyperlinks to each article in the issue.

Each semester, The Baylor Lariat produces a special issue surrounding a specific theme.  The Rift was the special issue for the Fall 2012 semester and was published in November 2012.  The articles touched on the separation that exists between the Baylor bubble and the city of Waco where Baylor University is located.   This special issue was published before I came on as the web editor in February 2013, but I went back and created the special page on the website.
